What can I put in the water to deworm?

So this morning, my hubby found small worms in the chickens water. I have no clue why because it was just cleaned out but there was some poop in it so I am going to deworm my chickens. What can I put in their water to deworm them? Thanks!

What did the worms look like? Rice? (Tapeworm) Long and skinny? (Roundworm) There are a bunch of other types too. If it is roundworm, Wazine is a gentler dewormer to use at first that can be added to water. However, it only kills roundworms, so if possible identify what they are (you can post a pic too and we can help you ID them).
