What can I use to mark my chicks?

All my red sex links look alike. What can I do to mark them so I can tell them apart.

dont they sell those leg bands?

you can also use plastic zip ties that come in different colored assorted packages for a couple dollars at home depot, or the 99 cent store.

You can go to the fabric store and get strips of white velcro. Color or write on the velcro who's who. This way you can adjust the bands as the chickens grow, and remove them easily without needing scissors.

I bought some little plastic leg bands on ebay for about $4 for 20. The seller ID was greenkoi1 I think.

I used zip ties and had a hard time cutting them.
