just saw a rat in my coop what can i us eto keep them out that will not hurt my chickens
what can i use too keep rats out off coop

as soon as the chickens sees him he will be lunch. lol
I use poison in a coffee can with a small hole in the lid. That allows the rats in to eat but keeps the chickens, goats, horses and dogs out.
