AMANDA NOT JARED HERE. I MIX MY OWN TEA. SEEP IT IN A TEA BALL. I WANT TO KNOW IF I FEED THE HERBS TO THE CHICKENS. I PUT NETTLE, COLTSFOOT, PEPPERMINT,CAMOMILE IN IT. IS IT OKAY FOR THE CHICKENS TO EAT?

If you just remember treats are only once in awhile you will get the best eggs.

Hi, Amanda.

You never can be sure what herbs and 'teas' will have affects and effects on chickens far different than on humans. I would suggest putting the used tea leaves in the compost and saving the other kitchen scraps for the chickens.
