what can the cause be? and...

yesterday i took this pic of her...

and today she was good in the morning as usual...i just came from the coop and she was as stiff as a rock.

What can had cuased this sudden crazy death? she was jsut 11 months old so age its out. i feed her medicated feed since birth and shes never have gotten sick. no mites no nothing. i cant find out why. she had just layed an egg this morning i dunno. any ideas? anyone?

also i have several 8 week old chicks in the same coop. should i take them out or what? i mean they all seem perfectly fine i dunno. the other adult buff's are also perfectly fine. Other than that it did rain about 25 minutes ago but she wasnt wet. annnnnnnnnnnd about the egg she layed this morning should i trow it out?

well as you did not do autopsy on her to see what her insides denote
there is not much to do with the cause

as for the egg you be the judge
it may have been she was egg bound with the next egg
or could be something wrong with her heart

she may have had a hard time laying the egg

you do not know if she had respiratory disease?

so guess I would put
2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in the gallon of water
and watch the chickens for some lathargic acting so as to denote need of Vit E to help cure a bad E.coli attack

Without having a necropsey done, I don't think anyone can tell you.

Sometimes they just die right out of the blue.
