what color of eggs do they lay?
is the hen ever known to be broody?

Our are very good birds. Our hen has gone broody a few a year. Ours Very good around children. Very beautiful. Rooster is very protective over girls will stay by nest and tattle tale where our hens are hiding. We have golden phoenix.
They have quickly became one of our favorites! Med to small white to cream color eggs.

We had a Phoenix hen. We absolutely loved her. She did go broody and was an excellent mom and surrogate mom. She layed small off white eggs. She was not a prolific layer, but she more than made up for it by sharing the parenting with our Silkie hen. When the Silkie started chasing the youngsters away at about 10 to 11 weeks, the Phoenix took all of them on and contiued to look after them. She got killed accidentally and we plan to get more Phoenix in the future.

Pure is rare there are so any kinds now. You can breed them for pets, please not for fighting though!

yes they are pheonix they are gold and silver
