We are considering getting a trio (drake and two females) of sarcelle ducks from a breeder nearby. These won't be our first ducks; we've had plenty of muscovies, but currently want something a little smaller. We live in france, so sarcelles are common here and we could get them without having to drive for several hours or pay exorbant prices. Apart from wikipedia and various web pages, what do you guys know about them? Are they good around other animals (chickens)? Are they easy to tame? Do they lay hear round or just have a 'breeding' season when they lay? Stuff like that, and any other tips you might have. Thanks!
