What causes a chick to have a club foot.

It is very healthy,and doing real good,but just can`t walk ,its feet are turned in.And it looks so pitiful,,,BackSwampGirl

Is it a day old chick? If it was just born, I could be several factors...genetics, poor humidity during incubation/hatching or vitamin deficiency in breeder flock.

I am so happy my little chick started walking correct.He was just new born and I guess i was checking him out,now it just zooms around,,,A mother thang!!!! lol

That's great news. I guess I should have also said that fresh hatchlings do take some time to get their feet going under them. Glad to hear everything is ok.
