What causes Angel Wing and can chickens get angel wing too? I've only heard of ducks having it.

It is genetic or dietary or a combination of both. There is a long standing debate about its true origins. You will need to do your own research to establish where you stand in the debate. I, personally, believe it is a genetic defect with a dietary trigger.

Chickens don't get it. Ducks and geese get it.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

It is common in commercial broiler chickens and turkeys.

I recently aquired 15 Malines chicks from Greenfire. 12 displayed angel wings and starting dying off and within 10 days I had 3 living. Those three are are still alive and are extremely small. I contacted Greenfire and told the chicks were dying off daily and they looked like their wingtips were turned up. I asked for no replacements or refund, just information. I received an informative reply in how to care for new arrivals and disease prevention. No mention of angel wings. Perhaps they do not about it. I just learned today. I will be destroying the 3 survivors.
