What causes developing fertile eggs to die?

I wish I knew you've had more luck than me . but I know I've had the same problem. Plz let me know if you find out. Im actually trying again I have 33 in a 48 egg incubator the yellow lid one . im praying
I had tried in the nr360 twice and failed . if you learn something please let me know. I got told misting

@heatherrhodus1425, you may find Pete55's comprehensive incubation guide helpful. He also expands on misting and cooling waterfowl eggs - which I do - here.
There are variables specific to your situation that may affect incubation, like type of eggs, whether they're shipped or not, the ambient humidity where the incubator is located, and the reliability of your incubator.

If you haven't already, I'd verify that your incubator's readings for temperature and humidity are accurate, as I've found most incubators' displays are off (sometimes significantly). I always use an independent thermometer and hygrometer, too.
