What causes duck eggs to form but not hatch?

I've hatched out chickens in duck egg conditions/both together with no problems, but from what I've heard YMMV.

Well, don't mist the chicken eggs, just the duck eggs and they should be fine. I have hatched ducks and chickens together several times now.

Day 43? Is that a typo or did I miss something?

These are muscovy ducks, gone alil over I do have low Temp at 95F.. does it look alive ? No movement.

43 days is a long time for even a muscovie. I've never hatched them myself but I believe they're supposed to be a 35 or 36 day hatch.

If you touch it and it doesn't move it is likely dead . It is way over due

I had the same problem I had a call die and my 2 runners 1 runner was fully formed but just never hatched I did everything I supposed to I just guess it wasn't meant to be for the little ones .
