What chick breeds are these?

Hello, I’m new here and was hoping you guys could help me out
So I went to the country store to buy a few chicks. The chicks were all mixed together in various enclosures and the employee didn’t really seem to know what he was doing. I requested a female Buff Orpington and a female Black Australorp. It’s been a few days since I got them, and I’ve been looking up the breeds’ chick pictures online. I think the employee made a mistake. Are the breeds what I requested? Or did he make a mistake? The “Black Australorp” has a white dot on his head, so I suspect it’s a Barred Rock. I don’t know the ages of either chick. Anyway I hope these pictures are suffificient if not I’ll try to upload more.

Looks like you have a Red Sexlink and a Black Sexlink to me

Definitely not what you asked for! The black is most likely a Barred rock(I would be wary of it being a rooster, all my roos had that pattern when they were little) and is the orange colored chick growing white feathers? If so, could be anything from leghorn to white rock.

If this is so, the black is definitely male and the orange one would be female.

The black could also be a barred rock, just looked more like a Sexlink. is there any barring coming in on the wing feathers?
