Silkie would be best

(Asils lay small eggs and make great broodies and mothers, but getting one of those is like getting gold for free, basically almost impossible)

Supposedly the commercial pea industry ( or at least the ones that write about it) use bantam cochins as the most reliably broody light breed. Silkies came next . I read some fascinating articles when looking into peafowl eggs.
