What I know that contributed to make these birds possible are:

- Red Jungle Fowl
- Green Jungle Fowl
- Grey Jungle Fowl
- Ceylon Jungle Fowl
- Sumatra
- Aseel
- Malayoid Type
- Pheasant Malayoid Type

I'm confused about the last two and which others contributed to these birds?

The term "Malayoid Type" is likely referring to the simpler term "Oriental Gamefowl"

Malays being the primary breed, but others including Thai, Shamos, Ga Noi/Dun/Cua, and then stemming out to Aussie Pitfowl and such. Asils also being a relatively fitting breed in there.

I think the Colloncas and/or Quechua are a notable variety too, they being the ones who started the blue/green eggs of today's modern Araucanas, Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, and Legbars.

edit: that's an Archaeopteryx dinosaur... the first perching bird known to man... shares the same DNA as the modern chicken somehow... go fig...

i thought i had typed that in, but i just put the pic... fail...

By putting breeds like Sumatra, Asil, ect. on the list where are you insinuating they came from?

old thread, true. but i couldn't resist.

it is known and admitted that the archaeopteryx never existed; moreover the fossil 'evidence' is fraudulent.

careful, class!
