This is a pic from a week or two ago. He’s a mix, but I don’t even know of any breeds that look at all like him. I lovehim anyway though, he’s the prettiest guy and I can’t wait to see what he looks like when he’s older!

56 adult birds seem like a lot. Too me it's not much different then 25 birds.Again, so many unusual birds! And for me, 10 chickens is a lot to look after...
Aww I bet they’re really cute! Did u hatch them yourself? For me, there is nothing like watching the chick come out of the egg. However, next time we will probably go for sexed day old chicks, don’t want to end up with anymore Roos than we already have!

Hey there! I have a few silkies who I don’t know fully the genders of (they’re 8 weeks) but I have my suspicions. If one is a cockerel, I will hopefully keep it as long as it’s friendly enough.All my chickens in coop 1 have names too. Only the bantam cockerel has a name in the second flock because he is my favourite, and the others may have to be re-homed. @Lemon-Drop , I saw another thread where you were thinking of getting a rooster. Did u decide to get one?

hello! your flock is definitely admirable! super cool. just wondering where you get your birds from... I assume you breed some, but are there others that you get from an outside place? do you recommend shipping birds? im new to this and i would love to get healthy birds but im not sure what the best way is. The nearest chicken farm that i found online is 9 hours away... :/
