I am too lazy to go down and check for myself, and if I did... I may buy chicks before I am ready for them!

What breeds are being sold at your TSC? What are the prices?

I think it really depends on your TSC and which hatchery they order from. Why not just call them? That's what I did. They couldn't tell me bantam breeds, but the rest they just read off the signs on the brooder tubs. All I wanted to know was that they had bantams anyway ;)
Give them a ring!

As far as what they were selling, they had red sex links, leghorns, ducklings, Cornish x, austrolorps and misc bantams. I can't remember exact prices, but I paid $34 and some change for 8 chicks and a new heat lamp.

I have two TSC stores close by, but haven't been to one in a while. The other was selling:

Khaki Campbell ducks
Pekin Ducks
Assorted Bantams (they always have these)
White Leghorns
Production Reds
Buff Brahmas (st run - but labeled as pullets when i bought some

)
Tetra Tints
White Cornish Rocks (str run)

have also seen the following this year but not in the past couple weeks:

Speckled Sussex Str run
Black Sex Link
Red Sex Link
Amberlink
Black Australorp
Buff Orpington pullets
Dark Brahma str run
Rouen Ducks

As for prices:

2.99 bantams, 4.49 ducks, 1.99 featured breed (any of the straight run assortments), 2.99 any sexed pullets. They often had some big feathery ones on sale for as low as 50 cents each.

I was in ours Saturdy and last night. They were out of ducks last night. Had some older chicks that were on sale for $1. There were not many pullets left, of which they had white leg and reds left. They did have bantams and speckled sussex as well.

At mine: Barred rocks, plymouth rocks (same actual breed as barred rocks, just different colors), red sex link, ameraucanas, and welsummer.

At mine I've seen red sex link, speckled sussex, assorted bantams, assorted pullets, rhode island reds, meat birds.. I know I'm forgetting a few though. They've had different ones everytime I've been in there over the last few weeks.

I have only been in my local TSC twice; the first time about 3 weeks ago they only had Red Sex Link, Amber Sex Link, and Pekin Ducks. Last week they also had Black Sex Link and White Leghorns in addition to the previous three. I got mine from a local (well not-so-local) hatchery an hour and a half away.

This is my first time raising chickens, we got them yesterday, and so far they seem to be doing good. I got 26 in a 24" x 60" cardboard brooder (will expand to 24" x 83" later, and even larger yet later on) with a 250 watt red heat lamp, two waterers, one small feeder, and one trough feeder. I'm having a heck of a time keeping a stable temperature due to them being in an insulated trailer. It drops down at night, and then warms up during the day. I had at 95 Sunday night, but it got down to 88 overnight Sunday into Monday. Last night it was at 100, but it actually climbed to 104 by morning. I open it up quite a bit, but it still got to 120 during the day. I adjusted the light and cardboard top again, and after a hour was down to 90, so now I adjusted again and have it around 95-100, but I'll check it one more time before I go to bed. They do have plenty of room (and water) to go cool off it it's too hot, but they all want to sleep somewhere (in varying spots) under the lamp-then they all get up, go eat and drink, and then come back and sleep around by the lamp, some directly underneath and some in outlying areas. I assume this is normal, right?
