can you tell by the color of the chicks of any of these breeds if they will be male or female just by the color?

Leghorn
Orpington
Americana
Golden comet
Rhode Island Red
New Hampshire Red
Barred rock
Speckled Sussex

Golden comets are sexlinks so you can tell from the moment they hatch (males white, females light brown). The rest would be vent sexed at a hatchery so it depends on how reliable you want your results. Anything can achieve 50% accuracy.

I feel like I should mention that golden comets are an intentional crossing. They are not a breed because the cross is required for sexlinking to occur. If you get a bunch of comets and breed them to each other, you will not get more sexlinked chicks.
