Hello peeps,

I have a crucial crisis, about my pet Henri. They told me he is a he, when they sold him as a baby. Now, I am not sure. Could you please tell me the truth?
Also I have no idea of what color is he. He has stripes on his body and wings, white splotches in his wings and tail, and just about everywhere else. He turns anything from deep blue, to turquoise, to deep green to golden green, sometimes even CHARCOAL BLACK TO PURPLISH BLUE. His tail is starting to have golden green, but there start to be red spots on his tail as well.

He has light blue/grey eyes.

Thank you for any advice, here are the pics:

I second that, don't worry Henri is a boy. When they are young they just don't have all that color. Once he is three years old he will be fully transformed into a really beautiful peacock.

I have a four year old india blue pied male named Dragon, this is what he looks like:

I still don't know how we were able to get Dragon...Every time we visited Glen, a guy in Alabama who has all kinds of birds including lots of peafowl, and walked back to the pied and white peafowl pens I would see Dragon there displaying or on a perch. He had no peahens in the pen with him just a few chickens and I just loved it when we would visit and he would be displaying. We were able to get him when we went to go get Damsel from Walden's Peafowl...We bought Damsel's mom and gave the mom to Glen and then we also paid for Dragon so that is how we got Dragon. I was dreaming about having Dragon before I even knew we could get him. I still can't wait to see what kind of pieds Dragon and Damsel will make, both birds seem to have similar patterns like lots of white in the wings and not much in the train so I am wondering what a pied from them would be like...

I think doudini2's little peacock will be very beautiful when he gets older. He defiantly has a cool looking pattern especially on the wings.

Since the pied pattern isn't really a pattern at all, it's a result of leucism, the places the white are on one pied (or both parents) will not transfer to the same places on the kids. So you should get random patterns from Dragon and Damsel

Oh, sorry guys and gals, I was so busy making candy for farmers market, i could not read the thread.
Thank you for all your input. I am happy and surprised he is IB pied.
Everytime i saw Dragon, I admired him so much. I am happy Henri is same kind. Dragon had such brilliant colors sometimes I look at his pictures again and again.
