Did you meet or see the parents?1 black and white and the 2 buff and white in the picture together we said to me anconas. The other black and white is my magpie drake
I see a couple ancona.
What kinds of ducks did the place have where you got the ducks from?
They could be a mix. I have an couple that are ancona and runner mix, they aren't black and white.
No. But I see ancona's most common colors are black and white, chocolate and white. They can come in lilac, lavender, blue and tri colored. But no buff is listedDid you meet or see the parents?
I suspect that those may be a mix. But I am new to ducks as of this spring.No. But I see ancona's most common colors are black and white, chocolate and white. They can come in lilac, lavender, blue and tri colored. But no buff is listed
The picture of the 3 together are the hens. 1 black and white. The other 2 are buff or chocolate and white. Just wondering if the color is buff or chocolate for anconas. I have seen picture that look buff and white listed as anconas. But no documentation on that color. The other picture of the 4 ducks has my magpie drake. He is also black and white.I suspect that those may be a mix. But I am new to ducks as of this spring.
I'm puzzled by the buff color, but leaning toward mix.
They are beautiful though!
Did he say how old they are?
Just wondering if they are drakes or hens.
No I dont know age. But guessing ypunger as I get 3 eggs a day.I suspect that those may be a mix. But I am new to ducks as of this spring.
