I oogled the assorted bantams every time I went into a TSC this Spring. But restrained myself from getting them, already had ordered full-size chicks. I have 3 TSC that are all about the same distance from me. The one in the smallest town gets the most variety, but I never made it there before they sold most of them (six troughs set up). The other 2 only have four troughs set up, and would get Cornish Rocks/mystery broilers, a pullet run, straight run mystery ducks, straight run mystery bantams, and then a specialty breed. For the specialty breeds this season I saw Egyptian Fayoumis, Rhode Island Reds, Welsummers, and Black Cochins. The one in the small town got white leghorns.

Our TSC got one order of truly mixed bantams (silkies, d'uccles, OEGB) and have gotten nothing but white Silkies ever since. This is, of course, in addition to a bin of Campbell's ducks, a bin of production reds, and a bin of Cornish Xs.
