What color are these peachicks

I bought these today, they hatched on thursday. The seller got the eggs from someone else & knows nothing about peacocks..so they are a mystery..Ive never had any like these. they yellows arent solid, they have very light beige in the wings.

the brown/yellow one seems too light to be an IB

Also they had a month old version of the yellow ones & they have alot of beige tones in the wings

These two would be Blackshoulders. They start out looking like this and acquire more and more color as they grow feathers.. The other one may be a white-eyed.. appears it may be split to white due to having some white feathers in it's wingtips.

Yes the yellow ones are Blackshoulder pattern, not sure of color could be purple,cameo. Agree the brown one could be w.e maybe dark pied. or split white.

Pics later may be able to tell color of BS as they get older, Blues BS will be white with black specks, Purple BS, cameo BS will be white with brown specks.

Hard to believe this 2 yr old BS (blue) peacock looked like that as a peachick 2 yr ago.

Great info & pics! ..Ive never had any peas in these colors before..always just IB, java & spaulding..


and 2 of my eggs have hatched..theyre still drenched..so tomorrow i will have a good look at them.
