I purchased two Cameo peachicks from a local breeder. As they have been growing, I observed that one has a light creamy color while the other displays a more rusty brown hue. Initially, I presumed they would form a pair, but it appears that both are hens.

Do you have any insights or suggestions regarding their coloring?

Here some pictures of their parent.. I asked another breeder and said the dark old peahen might be Bronze and and the light one is for sure Cameo.. now I'm confused!

So even with this difference its still Cameo?
The dark one doesnt show any green blood sign to me.. I'll ask for better pictures and I'll share it ASAP.

I do agree. I checked the internet just now and found a very close color match, identified as Purple. I believe it closely resembles what I have. This similarity could be possible as it resulted from a mating between a Cameo male and a possible Purple hen. This could explain why my young hen has a dark coloration, potentially making her a Purple split Cameo hen. Any genetic insights or advice on this?
PS. Pictures are not mine.
