We have had a flock of 10 or so chickens for the past three years. We have learned a lot through trial and error (extending the run and coop three times) and have enjoyed reading all the advice with the online chicken community. They have helped us tremendously and we feel more confident each year.
We have some Black Giants, Anconas, Rhode Island Reds, and Ameraucanas on our small farm. We most raise vegetables but love having chickens.
