    Looks like it's going to be a partridge Cochin. Very pretty birds.

    Thank you very much. She is the first chick of this color to come from this rooster pictured below. I do not know which hen he bred to produce her, but his choices were only buff, white, and a birchen looking bird. Is a partridge bird ever used to produce mille fleur? My roo is an imperfect mille fleur - project bird [​IMG] and I think the partridge color must have come from him. Is this possible?
