What color do you think these keets will be?

The breeder told me he thought they were chocolate. He had a lot of birds and was pretty busy they day he dropped them off.

What do you think? Do they look pied?

I looked on a webpage that showed all kinds of different color keets, but I couldn't really be sure.

down in the box look pied but never seen one the color of thelma. i have a chocolate and it was a solid colored keet.

Thelma and Louise are the same color. They only difference is Thelma is tons bigger than Louise.

I'm new to guineas, glad it's not just me who's never seen this color!

just noticed were in the same neck of the woods. lol there is a post on here called, raising guinea fowl. a lot of knowledgeable people there.

Updating this for anyone seeking info in the future...

The keets turned out to be Royal Purple. The male (fka Louise, now Louie) has a few white feathers as though they carry the pied gene.
