I need a little help with color identification with some eggs that I have been getting steadily for months now. Lately when people visit they want to know what color this is called and I honestly have never seen this color with my hens before. Prior I was only getting blue eggs until my new spring hen's started laying which added more blue, some white and then these lovely colored eggs. They are almost a creamy green color, but are not blue, white or brown. These eggs are either from my fawn and white indian runner or a dutch hookbill. I also added a picture of one of the eggs next to a white egg for comparison. Thanks!:)

Very pretty color! I have a new layer that I thought was a prairie bluebell - looks just like a cream legbar. Her eggs are a really interesting color that changes depending on light source. Outside they appear almost blue, but more olive in the kitchen. The intensity of color seems to vary too - I only have one hen laying anything but browns, so it's been interesting to monitor.

I have a hen who lays such an egg. I think of it as khaki but I've heard other people call it olive.

Is it blue inside when you break it open? Mine is.
Hmm I always break them open in my blue ceramic bowl so I'm not sure, but I will break one open in a white bowl and see!
