What color is she? She looks much different from ameraucanas I've had in the past. She's got this silver head and these fiery orange feathers that grew in.

I have seen big beautiful blue eggs and i thought they were from ameraucanas or easter eggers. I went on line and went to quite a number of hatcheries but they all seem to say the the ameraucanas and Easter Eggers produce small or medium eggs. Do they need to be crossed with a white leghorn?
Id like to have layers that produce big blue eggs.
Any ideas? Thanks
Do you know where i can get some of those chickens? My Ameraucana large fowl blacks consistently lay large to extra-large blue eggs.

Thank you. I will check with them.I created large fowl black Ameraucanas and have shipped day-old chicks all over the country for decades, but I'm no longer taking orders.
Cackle Hatchery says there LF blacks lay medium to large eggs, but their original stock came from me so with the right selection I would think their black Ameraucanas would have the genetics needed to produce large to extra-large eggs.
