What color is our frizzle considered?

Not sure on the color pattern but don't breed another frizzle to him. It won't be a healthy bird if you do.

He looks to be a very pretty splash... I have never seen one like that... But like brahma said dont breed frizzle to frizzle the babies will have brittle feathers, and bald spots.

Thank you for your replies. Yes, I am well aware not to breed him to another frizzle. I've looked at pictures of those "frazzles" and that's just an ugly chicken...and I have an "Uggo aka Showgirl"

This is the sweetest roo and I love watching him run because all his feathers just shake. Lol

Hahahahah Come on a Showgirl is "cute" in its own way. I had a frizzle roo and they are very funny to watch run around. He is very colorful for sure! hope you find him some pretty ladies!

I'll be honest...I love our Showgirl. My middle son claimed it as his own because he thinks it's so cute. It is the most unusual thing. It even has a gravel-y sounding growl...it doesn't even bauk like a chicken should. haha I have no idea if it's a boy or girl yet but it is going on 14 weeks.

i was thinking it was more of a black mottled cochin as it look nothing like a splash color wise since its black and white

I would call it a spangled, it looks white with black spotting.

Okay, I went out and took some pictures of his actual feathers. His chest and head are white.
