What color is this? And how do I repeat it on a satin silkie?

I have two unknown mix breed hens (from BYM hatching eggs I purchased from ebay) that both turned out like this. Only one is photographed here. But I think this type of pattern would look very pretty on a satin silkie. Can anyone tell me about the genetics involved here? And maybe how I would be able to get this pattern onto a satin silkie?

Would I breed a silkie rooster to this hen And then back to silkies or breed the offspring together that has the correct patterning? Should I breed them to a black satin silkie or would that mess things up?

If you have access to a Partridge Silkie rooster, maybe breed the hens to him, then breed a son back to the original hens. Choose the chicks that grow up to look most like what you want.

For later generations, either interbreed them with each other, or cross in another Silkie every now and then.
