What color is this beautiful 4 mo old Silkie cockerel?

This is my 4 month old Silkie cockerel (LEFT). He is black and white w/ some brown spotting in his wing feathers. What color is he?

I say gray, I think he's a bit too dark for splash.

Grey and silver partridge are different names for the same thing. Splash is very different, both genetically and in appearance.
