What type of Cackle French Maran?

I got 10 choco egg layer surplus, from cackle and 2 or them have feathered out in a brown speckle pattern that doesnt look like any of the advertised options! 3 day old babies were mostly black with some brown on wings. Now they are 4 weeks and almost a barred brown color.
Could they be french black copper maran??

They’re black copper. The extra brown is called being “mossy”
