For whether to cull her from the breeding program, I would consider what other birds are available and what good qualities they have, then decide which are the best ones for this project. It sounds like you might need her to make progress toward some of your goals, even if she has some other traits you don't like as well.Thank you @MysteryChicken @NatJ and @Amer for your input - would you cull this girl from a breeding program if working mainly on lavender, black or paint birds? She would be useful to me due to the blue egg gene that she has and the lavender and silkie genes that she carries. (working on blue egg laying silkies.)

Of my three banty blue egg layers, she does have the prettiest blue so far. I’ll hang on to her for now and see what I have to work with once my grow outs mature. For whether to cull her from the breeding program, I would consider what other birds are available and what good qualities they have, then decide which are the best ones for this project. I like Red, or Autosomal Red on Paint. So I wouldn't breed it out within mine.Thank you @MysteryChicken @NatJ and @Amer for your input - would you cull this girl from a breeding program if working mainly on lavender, black or paint birds?
