what color is this chicken?

I bought this one as a gold laced wyandotte but I have noticed that some of the feathers that used to look black are now more of a charcoal/slate gray color. Are the feathers just fading or do I have some other color bird?

That's an interesting color. I thought GLW were supposed to be only gold and black. Maybe yours had a blue laced red parent and that's mixing in?

I have no idea what her parents were. I got her from a small local farm that sells chicks hatched by our local 4H clubs. I think she is really pretty and all, just been confused about her apparent color change lol
