what COLOR is this hen????

hi.. she came to me as a ST.BLUE COCHIN.. all others are BLUE... she looks barred too???? just wondering...

Its not a Cuckoo Maran. The neck and back feathering is more penciled than barred.

she is SUPPOSED to be purebred COCHIN... she has feathers all down her feet too,, (picture cut it off)
i got cochins, cuckoo marans, EEs.. from IDEAL HATCHERY... they all look like they are supposed to,, Xcept this one...
looks like my other blue cochin hens,, just a strange color...

That looks like a mix between one of my partridge and blue cochin hens.

She looks like a pure cochin, she's just not a pure variety. Looks like a cuckoo over a silver pencilled.

All cochin... what the mix is would just be a guess.

I think that is what ideal's "barred" Cochin look like becuase that is where i got mine from and they look they same
