Any idea who the parents could have been? this chick almost looks like a Purple could also be a Bronze. But I have been wrong before this is why I don't like to guess colors from pictures.
I asked the seller of the eggs for purple peafowl and I was told that the chance is 1 of 4 to be purple (I had 4 eggs - one was clear, one quit early and one fully formed chick died in the egg with half absorbed yolk and this is, who hatched), so I think Choctaw Valley Farm
you are right
about purple
. This seller didn't have Bronze
She had together two males: 7/8 Pied Spalding (2 year old) male and 3/4 Spalding X Black Shoulder Purple (2 year old) male with 3 peahens: 4 year old Blue Pied Hen ; 3 year old Blue Pied Hen and 3 year old Purple Hen.
If the Purple male got with the Purple hen then your chick could be male or female, but if the Purple male got with one of the other hens then your Purple chick should be a hen.
Thank you Choctaw Valley Farm for the important information and may be we will see with who the male got when the peachick is few months older... I hope he/she last to these months
as he/she is not learning how to eat! Together from the day first with other chicks - bigger IB peachick and pheasant chicks, he/she always runs to their beaks and try to grab the food from there, but they don't think so and he/she doesn't care for the plenty of food in the feeder
