what color silkie chick? Updated with pics pg2

My hen hatched some eggs today one chick is whiteish with black spots on its back? What color silkie would this be when it is grown up. Will try to get some pics tomorrow if the weather is nicer.

It's probably a mixed color. Unless you have self blue in your lines, you won't be getting any self blue chicks. Greys don't hatch out white with black spots.
 
I'll get some pics tomorrow. I'v never seen this color in any of my whites I have hatched. The hen this chick is from is black and the roo is white. I havent seperated my pens yet and wanted to test my roos fertility. So could this possibly be just a white and black mixed chick?

Ok, maybe a silly question I am not good on the genetics but what do you mean?

If so, we are up in the air as far as genetics. I have asked around and so far, no one can give me a definite idea of what this will turn out to be. Oh and mine hatched out of Black and Blue parents, not white. However, it is a fact that my black father has Lavender in his background.

So far the chicks are not feathering in white, but they appear almost mottled....so far.

Yes! somthing like your chicks...I'll get pics tomorrow the weather looks promising to take the babies out to snap pics. Wow, I wonder what color they will be!!
