I have a new chick hatch, and I am not sure what color it is. All my chickens are silkies but I have never seen a color like this. It is black all over with the white around ther eyes
I was also wondering if there was anyway to judge is this chick is a rooster or hen yet. Its feathering on the back of its head is pointy. I thought I read somewhere that that is a good indication of it being a rooster? I cannot see any kind of comb yet.
