What color Silkie is this?

A friend of mine hatched out some of our silkie eggs yesterday and got this little cutie. Daddy is a blue rooster and Mommy is a white hen. What is your best guess as to what color variety she is? Splash, paint, etc? Thank you!

Looks partridge, or partridge based. It will depend on what genes your white hen is carrying.

Thanks! Someone mentioned somewhere else that she looks like she'll be silver? Anyone think the same? I've personally never seen a silver silkie chick

Thank you! She knows she's the cutest <3 lol She's very vocal about it too. I can't wait to see how she feathers out. I have 9 more eggs in my own incubator due to hatch a week from Tuesday. I can't wait to see what I get

Silver (or silver partridge or grey) is similar to partridge. Partridge is brown and gold based. Silver partridge is black and silver based. That chick has brown/tan/gold tones so I think partridge. It is far more common than the greys.
