Hi everyone! Our family is going to adopt this Ameraucana from a guy in Seattle (1 of his 4 female chicks turned out not to be a pullet lol). Our first roo, for our 14 girls [IMG] I've google-image searched Ameraucana roos but haven't seen this coloring. It looks like maybe a blue crossed with something? Wheaten or red-brown? He's a gorgeous guy but I was wondering if any of you know what he is? Ideas?

Have any of you had any bad experiences with Ameraucana roos? The guy said he's pretty laid-back.......

    Thanks!
    Holly

Do you have any pics? He may just be an Easter Egger.

Can't help you with color name. But he is real pretty. My Ameraucana (easter egger) is nice - not aggressive, and so far easy on the pullets. I would say get him my experience with Ameraucana thus far has been positive. Mine is about 25 wks now. the pictures of him at about 20 wks.
