I have a hen that I absolutely adore. She lays beautiful jumbo green eggs. I have a white leghorn mix rooster. Any way to tell what color eggs their chicks MIGHT lay?? I'm new to "chicken genetics"

They will all lay pale green eggs, some verging on white.

Unless the leghorn mix ended up with brown egg genes, in which case they may be a darker shade of green; and depending on whether the hen has two copies of the blue eggshell gene or just one, some may lay brown or white eggs (if she only has one copy).

If you want to keep the blue egg gene, keep the pea combed chicks. They are more likely than the straight combed ones to carry the blue egg gene.
