What color will their eggs be?

I have crossed my silver laced polish roo with a Rhode Island Red hen. Does any one know what the egg color might be?

Do you mean the color of the eggs from grown chicks hatched from the pair? Otherwise RIR's lay brown eggs. It doesn't matter what the roo is.

Probably brown. Some speckled, but mostly brown because of the RIR.

Brown is dominant but there are lots of brown genes so frequently when you cross to a lighter egg color you lose a few shades. Sometimes you get speckles especially when crossing chickens that both lay a different shade of brown.

Okay thanks. I heard the EE'rs were mixed with a brown layer. Is there any possibility the eggs could be green or blue shaded?
