what color will they be

I have two three day old chicks they are silkies their dad is black and their mom is dark partridge they should be black but they are dark gray with white patches like paint horses will they be black or gray what? I would post pics but i have no idea how to on this newer version they are in my default album if you want to see pics.

Why do you say they should be black? That said, they look like either blue or black chicks. The patches I see look typical for black or blue chicks: white on bellies and wings.

I posted a thread and asked what would happen with the the partride and black and people said they would be black but they dont look like the black father did when he was that age.
