I am new here and to peacocks. This is my first year hatching. I have been having all BS but introduced a new yearling hen to the pen. We thought a couple of the eggs were just different enough to raise an eyebrow. Now that they have hatched we have 2 marked like this one. It is 2 days old in the pic.
Thank ya'll very much

What type of yearling hen did you put in pen? The chick should be IB split BS. Depending on your BS male if it was split to what type the hen was then there could be other possibilities.

my cock is a BS the new hen is all white including wings with the neck a light grey color on the back of it. the two new chicks have the brownish color on the top of head back of neck and back of body and have of the wings everything else is yellow.

Sounds like your BS male would have to be split to at least something to get a colorful baby like that. Will be interesting to see what it looks like as it matures. Can you show us a pic of the hen please? It sounds like she is a silver with the brownish only on head and back. Genetics still puzzles me but she can't be a simple BS if her wing-feathers aren't brown. Waiting to see her

Your hen sounds like a silver pied. The chicks in question are probably white-eyed split to blackshoulder. The chicks may also be carrying the pied or white gene.

this is my BS pair
the second pic is the new hen with the different size and colored eggs we think

her color is just a shading wings and tail solid white

Yes I asked but she doesnt know she has a lot of peafowl and she just gathers eggs but she does have a pen with 2 blue pieds and i am hoping i got lucky and the hen is out of them
here is a pic of the two chicks in question they almost look alike
all season long i have been hatching BS out of the pair you see in earlier pics but then two eggs showed up different and then these showed up
so i guess my question is could these babies be pied or are they just IB
thank you to all of you who are helping with this question

The white one looks like an Oaten, that is a cross between a cameo and a blackshouldered was what i was told i believe,. .
