What color would you call this ameraucana?

This lovely hen was sold to me as an three-week-old ameraucana rooster by a lovely old lady who said "he" was purebred but didn't know much else. It's been over a year since then, and she lays a lovely blue egg. I'm just wondering if she really is a real color, or just another EE. Thanks!

(so far, this is the only pic I've got. Her tail is a nice blue gray, I'll try to get a full body shot tomorrow when it's light again :) )

I can't find any decent pictures of blue Wheaton ameraucanas, but that's what I was thinking.

I could probably never show her anyway, she's missing half a toe from a chick-hood accident. I'm just kinda curious.

Are those wheatons? They don't look like blue wheatons, but I'm an ameraucana amateur. They are lovely!

They are either wheaten or blue wheaten, but I lean towards blue. Regular wheaten seems to have a lot of black in the tail. You can't really see it in mine, but they only have a tiny bit of color on them, a few spots here and there if any at all.

Go to this web site, the Ameraucana breeders club, to see some pictures...
