What color would you call this??

I have a few frizzled D'Uccle/cochin mixes. They are basically mutts, but very good looking mutts!!
I have called this coloring "Greyish", but I know that isn't quite right. I thought with different breeds, there are only specific colors. But would that apply to mixed breeds also?
They are a little lighter colored than the pictures indicate.

The gals just hatched some chicks, and one is such a light silvery color.. I'm trying to figure out what color it might be when it grows. The moms were twice as dark as this one when they were babies.

Yep, they're Blue. And if you're working with Blue genetics, that light-colored chick of yours is probably a Splash.

Cool! I was thinking they were probably blue. So the little baby.. if it is splash, that is a very light color, correct?

And if it frizzes.. it would probably look very cool

Beautiful, birds... I would keep breeding them to see if you can get them to a reproducible standard.

Then you could post on BSA and sell their eggs at extremely high prices....
