What color?

some of you may be fallowing one of my threads of my Button Quail chicks hatching and a scary mishap where the incubator was knocked into..

Well 2 of the shells are open now and I can see one of the chicks has Black and Gold stripes on its head

Does anyone know what color mutation that will turn into?

gold and black stripes (probably still wet biddies I assume?) but could be pearl or wild

but yeah their still wet and technically still in the egg! theres just a small hole in the top where I can see their heads. it looks like the 2nd one might be all black! I'll get pictures when they decide to come out! a Pearl would be nice!

only patience will answer that. haha your trying to ID birds that are still in the shell! give it at least till they hatch! i thought i was an eager one.

The 2 dark ones are blueface, the light one looks like a silver.
