Granny's gone and done it again

I use a can of tomato sauce, 1 of tomato paste and add powdered onion, garlic, oregano and basil for marinara sauce. If I want spaghetti sauce I use a can of diced tomatoes, tomato paste, fresh chopped onion, garlic, basil and oregano. I also put in mushrooms and cooked hamburger. Marinara is usually thinner and lighter texture than spaghetti sauce. If you like to make you own this video is good information. She is making a big batch and preserving it, but you could make a smaller batch.
Thank you !! So marinara for spaghetti . Sounds good to me.

That is a TON of work! I've canned tomatoes before.

I don't like licorice at all so you can have mine. I'll have a Hershey bar instead.
Doesn't taste at all like licorice, Iris. It's just fruit-flavored like ... umm... fruit leather.
Wait when were you on a covered wagon!?
Lol. 1971 I think? This little religious group, a family, on a covered wagon went through this small town where DH#1 and I were living at the time (Rocky Ford) and we just sold everything we owned, bought a couple of horses and a tent and joined them. No wait it was 1974 bc I turned 21 during our travels. They had started in Maine and wanted to travel all 48 contiguous states, and we joined them in SE Colorado. Traveled with them mostly north and west but had to quit in Hamilton, MT due to my health. We were with them about 3 months.
