what colors are these chicks??

Lilies four remaining babies are growing like little weeds, they're all feathering pretty good too.

and they've all turned out beutiful.

I'm wondering what colors the little farts will be, and if they'll stay the colors?

this one is my absolute favorite color-wise.and I think it's a little pullet too.

this ones also pretty, it just started getting the little white flecks a few days ago, I think this is also a pullet.

ofcourse I know this one is solid black, but will it stay solid?,I think this is a pullet too.

this one has feathers that look like those cool indian feathers.
I think this is a roo.

I have a Serama baby similar in feathering. I call it Millie Fleur Wannabe. I'm sure the feathers will keep changing, though. Chicks have little secret Superman phonebooths where they go to transform periodically!

1, 2 and 4 are all juvenille feathers that will shift in color markedly when they get adult feather.

One is definitely closer to Mille Fleur wanna be than Partridge.

2 could be a Partridge or Laced variant or a mix of them.

4 is a juvenille partridge patterned bird, but whether it's wild type or Pg will remain to be seen. The head suggests wild type but that's not set in stone. If the breast goes reddish or salmon it's wild type, if it pencils in then it's pg.

thanks walkswithdog, that makes sese, sorta, so I can expect these to look nothing like they do now in about a month? LOL


I'll have to get a pic of Meep, she/he(I think she) looked something similar to the 4th chick, but now has a redish chest.
