You can get more chicks from white x black, depends on what the white is masking. Black x black will produce black. It's completely up to you!

No, silkie chicks can't be sexed that young.

The Silkie colors are confusing! lol going to pick up the two black silkies today, 3 or 4 months old. They are so loving!!!!!! I have never had a chicken like you be in my lap!!!!!!

They really are. Great! We'll need more pics of them once they've settled in their new home. I recently got a new silkie, and he's pretty affectionate. My others aren't at all.
