What colors will they produce?

Sometimes the boys are jerks.

I heard screaming earlier, the buff saw one of his lavenders get stolen from him and he's screaming and the whole flock of girls is surrounding screaming.

The youngest gander was too - and he's just clueless lol.

Yeah my buff boy lost one of his mates this year so I like to let him pick and choose whatever he wants. The other ganders will get last dibs and if I see bullying separate pens you go! At least at night lol.
Is your gander/sick pen near the others as in can see but not touch type situation? I'm just curious how other people handle it because I can separate that way and put the excess ganders on one side and the rest of the Gaggle on the other but I wonder if that's too mean LOL!? Or if they fight through the fence . I definitely want to avoid unnecessary injury . I can also move them further away to where they could probably still hear them but not see them. I realize it's only temporary but I hate breaking hearts🤣

Omg I never responded.

My planned out gander pen will be separated with a run, but if they are "sick" like something I don't know what's going on will go in my garage with a camera.

The outside ones Plan is to put them in the furthest away pasture from known mates.

It will be Gander/Newbie Pen/ Full White / Greys/ Buffs/Saddlebacks and it should give enough buffer so they leave each other alone possibly.

I got very fortunate this week. I found out my other lavender I thought was a boy is a girl. So I have 4 girls to three boys. One boy is a 4 months old totally clueless.

So my buff boy + grey SB split buff boy are the only ones covering the flock at the moment.

From talking to mentors and stuff separating ganders can cause them to get depressed, but if they are creating random colors, or you don't want them breeding it's tough. Everyone says separate them starting in October as they start doing pairing around their or November. If you don't they will form bonds, and be really committed to those pairs/trios.
